The Community Translation Center answers the translation need of our residents who have not yet mastered English, as well as service providers, employers, physicians, teachers and other community entities that need to communicate with clients whose first language is not English.
Helpline has staff and volunteers who can translate a variety of languages, including Spanish, Russian, German, Arabic, Tagalog, Chinese, Hebrew, Gheruti, French and American Sign Language. Our translators offer conversational translation as well as the translation of documents. They have assisted in employee/employer situations, physician/patient appointments and the case management of human services.
Helpline has an active, diverse culturally competent network that can, often on a moment’s notice, meet the translation need of almost every situation. Call 908-782-4357 for more information and assistance.
